My little twin monsters are 18 months old today.  They are crazy little people who like to run around with buckets on their heads, eat yogurt and Cheerios like it is going out of style, still not sleeping all night but can now walk and run and feed themselves. To celebrate, they get to go to the pediatrician for their 18 month check up.  We might go out for dinner with the grandparents later but we will have to see how the day goes.  I am also going to get my hair cut today….I am still not sure what I am going to do…..but not too short.

Mom and Grandma are on their way here….they are having the sewer pipe replaced at their house and would be stuck in a house all day with no water (or no ability to flush toilets)….so, they will watch the kids while I go to the gym this morning.  It is upper body day! Wahoo!

I also had to go back to the Ob/Gyn yesterday.  When they did my pap last month, they didn’t get enough cells to read the pap.  So, back I went.  They also had blood drawn for a breast cancer screen since I have such a strong family history. My arm is still sore.  It was reminiscent of the good old days of blood draws every morning.  And how weird is it to walk back into the hospital and not head to the NICU.

The weather here is beautiful and I just found out that my sister and nephew and niece are coming down this weekend. So I am really hoping that today is going to be a good day……

I am kind of disappointed about the weather today.  I was hoping that I would be able to get the kids out of the house for a little today, and get some shopping done at Wal.mart.  We are out of Mum Mums, almost out of Puffs and nearly out of baby food.  We have been introducing more and more “adult” food to the kids, but as far as veggies go, the only way to get them to eat them is in baby food form.

Yesterday, Melissa decided that she would surprise me.  I was laying on the floor in the baby jail.  Usually, Daniel or Melissa will come over and lift my shirt up, either the give me Zurbups (Melissa) or to play with my belly button (Daniel)….. well, Melissa gave me my zurburp….but then she bit me. Hard!  I still have a welt in the shape of her teeth.  Then she did it again.   She is a biter.  I was a biter when I was little…but I have no idea how to stop her from biting.  When we were bathing the kids last night, I noticed that Daniel had bite marks on his arm and his back.  I don’t know what I can do……anyone have any insight?

Oh…and we will be getting out of the house today.  We get to go to the pediatrician this afternoon.  Boy are they gonna be ticked that I cancelled the allergist appointment.  Oh well………

Dad and Grandma got back safely….I feel so much better knowing that Grandma is being taken care of.  (Not that I am insinuating that other members of my family are mistreating her….but it wouldn’t be the first time).

And, lastly…..I watched Dr. Phil yesterday.  Yes, he had Octomom on……and now I really want to smack her.  She said that she had “always” had 6 embryos transferred…..and ended up with singleton pregnancies……..or twin pregnancies.  Ummmm….if these were frozen embryos……how many did she have to start with!  Holy crap!  We had 11 fertilize…….and we transferred 3.  We are DONATING the rest…….unselfishly……
