So, I knew last night that I wasn’t going to get much sleep. The hubby had to get up and be at work extra early this morning since that cable news network is going to be at his plant filming today. He never sleeps before a big to do at work. So, I was listening for his alarm so he didn’t oversleep. He left for work beofre 4 am. Daniel was up a few times in the night again. Still no sleep around here. Then, Daniel was up at 5 and was soaked. In the process of changing him, Melissa woke up, so we are all up now.
Had a good trip to the dentist. They had originally thought that I had a cavity….(say it ain’t so) which I haven’t had since I was in 10th grade. As it turns out….it was just a small perforation in the enamel and they were able to seal three of my molars with sealent. I am just so glad I didn’t have to get numbed up. I hate that. And pretty much any time I see a needle, I think FERTILITY DRUGS….I don’t need to go back to those days.
Melissa has started to pull herself up in to a full stand. Daniel, not so much. I am sure it has something to do with the fact that Daniel is a little chunk monster. Melissa is a climber. The world is her jungle gym. She is so inquisitive about everything….Daniel just goes with the flow.
We have a guy coming out tonight to give us an estimate on replacing our fifty year old furnace this afternoon. This should be interestesting. I have to move about a ton of clean clothes that I have been begging the hubby to bring upstairs…yuck. I don’t mind laundry, but dragging the baskets up two flights of stairs sucks.
And my Phillies, sweet Phillies have to play the Dodgers. The game doesn’t start until 8 pm Thursday night. That means I will (most likely) be at work late. I told the hubby about it and hopefully it won’t be an issue this week…..
We have also been talking about the possibility of me going back to school. Once my parents have gotten settled, it wouldn’t be too hard for me to go back at night. I did some checking and as it turns out…I will pretty much have to start from scratch!!! Oh joy…just what I want- to sit in a class full of 18 year olds.
And, to top things off…it is 45 degrees out right now. I am not ready for the summer to be over, let alone think about frost.
